Let’s do a coke with coffee review, it’s time. Nothing is new about the exotic mix of coke and coffee. Back in 2006, Coca-Cola released Coca-Cola Blak, a coffee-flavored coke, but only to discontinue the product two years later. But believe me, the new Coke with Coffee that was successfully launched in the U.S. last year is different.
If you are a fan of coffee and soft drink, you should give it a try. Here is everything you should know about the new Coke with Coffee: what is it actually and does it come in flavors? You will also find a review of the vanilla-flavored of Coke with Coffee below. Check it out.
Coke With Coffee Review: What is it?
You can say that Coca-Cola with Coffee is a refreshment coffee. It does have a coke taste when you sip it, but it finishes like a coffee. It offers a Coca-Cola that is infused with Brazillian coffee powder. Each 12 oz can of Coke with Coffee contains 69 mg of caffeine.
Cokes come with a high amount of sugar, and so does the Coke with Coffee. There are also artificial sweeteners added, such as acesulfame and sucralose. But if you’re on a diet, you can have the “zero sugar” version.
We know there was something wrong with Coca-Cola Blak that they had to stop the production after two years. I bet this Coca-Cola with Coffee has some improvements compared to the predecessor. The obvious improvement is that now they come with 5 variants you can choose:
- Vanilla
- Dark Blend
- Caramel
- Vanilla Zero Sugar
- Dark Blend Zero Sugar
A few days ago I found Coca-Cola with Coffee on the shelf of a local store and decided to try one. I’m fond of vanilla drinks, so I chose the vanilla version of it. Soon we will have an answer if Coca-Cola with Coffee does taste like coffee.
Vanilla Coke With Coffee Review
The vanilla version of Coke with Coffee is a smooth combination of Coca-Cola, vanilla latte fragrance, and a kick of coffee.
As you open the can, a vanilla latte-like fragrance hits that makes you can almost taste it. Coke with Coffee actually looked like a regular Coke, but you’d be shocked in the first sip.
It is safe to say that the taste is very similar to a vanilla float. So if you want to enjoy a vanilla float taste with lower calories, why not give Coca-Cola with Coffee in vanilla version a try. I mean Coke with Coffee comes with only 70 calories while vanilla float has 160 calories!
If it wasn’t good enough, you will feel the kick of the caffeine after having the Coke with Coffee. It makes you feel energized and alerted, just like a cup of caffeinated coffee.
So overall, what I can say about the Coke with Coffee vanilla is that I love the flavor and the caffeine kick it has. However, to me, it doesn’t taste like real coffee. It tastes more like a vanilla float, but don’t get me wrong, people do love vanilla floats.
Summary and Rating
After tasting the vanilla variant of Coke with Coffee, I discovered that it tastes more like a vanilla float than a real coffee. It’s as if you added caffeine into your vanilla float with fewer calories.
Pros
- Tastes like a vanilla float (which is nice)
- Makes you feel energized
- Fewer calories
Cons
- The coffee flavor is not strong enough
- Contains artificial sweeteners (even in “zero sugar” versions)
In conclusion, Coke with Coffee in vanilla version has a great taste, but it doesn’t resemble coffee flavor enough.
Rating: 6.5/10 (Good)
